Sacramento, Calif. – Second amendment advocate and candidate for California’s sixth congressional district Craig DeLuz issued the following statement regarding a U.S. District Court decision blocking California’s large-capacity magazine ban:

“With the amount of brazen crime that’s happening throughout California, you would think Gavin Newsom and Rob Bonta would be supportive of a ruling that clears the way for law-abiding residents to better protect themselves.

“This ruling puts the fundamental human right of self-defense ahead of the uniformed fears of those who know little to nothing about firearms. It’s a shame Californians have had to wait years to be able to exercise a fundamental constitutional right.”
